    I would agree with your assessment UNCfever. But Baddour has to show some guts one way or the other now and make a decision. These stories are on the internet for all to see and don't think for a minute that the opposition isn't using it against Carolina in recruiting.

    And LarryD would probably tell you that in these parts, UNC news sells newspapers, whether it's bad news or good news.

    I totally agree, UNC needs to go ahead and say for sure whether or not Doh will be back as soon as they evaluate the program.

    If he is asked he will come...

    Guys all i can tell you is this.If Roy Williams is asked to come to Chapel Hill he will take it.I hear it from to many folks in the basketball world.I'm told he regrets saying no in the first place and Carolina will not risk bringin in an experiementThey want a proven big time winner....I hate to see anything happen to Coach D someone that i've known over the past several years and someone that returns all phone calls........but the Williams issue will simply not go away.....also The New NBA Charlotte team is loking at Don Chaney of the Knicks is he leaves.....and if Tubby Smith isn't going to be to expensive Johnson may talk to him....

    thought you may want that info........and yes UCLA like Brad Holland ( former UCLA) and will try to get Williams......I was told that during a visit to LA.......( had to see pauley pavilion again)...

    Doherty would be a HELL of an assistant... but it would never happen...it would be over 4 years before he could be brought back to UNC as an assistant if he were EVER... primarily due to the fact of getting the students now through the program... but in a fantasy world having Roy Williams as your coach and Matt Doherty as his assistant you'd YEARLY have a top 5 recruiting class
