    Agreed. I don't think any of our local guys are capable anyways. Rick Bonnell for the Bobcats seems to be the only guy even somewhat familiar with the nuances of the sport he covers. And of course, it is a bit simpler in BBall.

    Good point. I don't care much about basketball, but I'll read Bonnell because I feel like I learn something.

    As far as game analysis goes, there's nothing a credentialed reporter has access to that gives him/her an edge over a fat-ass blogger like myself. Now, quotes and fluff....yea, that helps. But if you want an x's and o's breakdown of the "why", as long as you have DVR, you can do just about anything you want--assuming you know the game.
