Meat, I need your Red Beans & Rice recipe

    soak beans overnight

    In a big ass pot, boil beans with:

    Oil
    Salt
    pepper
    wine
    shallots
    garlic
    onion
    bacon

    Simmer for about 8 hours. Put in hot things if the others eating are cool with it. My 4 year old wasn't, so i spiced it up after.

    Eat.

    must it simmer for 8 hrs , even if they soak overnight?

    scratch the wine, shallots and bacon. add bellpepper, red pepper, andouille sausage.
