  1. Sweeping his legs and a helment to knee is not the same. That is a cheap shot. The player Wil Johnson did as the coaches told him too.Take him out.

Actually, I think we are looking at a different game. I'm thinking of the game I've played and watched for years where you stick people anywhere except the head to get them down. You must be watching some sport where players wear skirts.

No, you are just a Miami fan. No harm in that. I was rooting for them too. But plays like the one that happened to Willis happen all the time in football. You go for the legs and sometimes you hit an ankle, sometimes a shin - sometimes a knee.

  4. The last game I watched was the Shrine Bowl where South Carolina took it up the ass with their skirts on

To imply that the OSU coaching staff would send a guy out on the field to intentionally take McGahee out of the game is insane. You get a guy in the open field, you go for the legs to take him off his feet.
While unfortunate, don't try to make it more unfortunate than it already is.
Miami should have walked with this one, but they bought the hype and came in taking the Buckeyes lightly...end result, giving OSU momentum to keep it close.
OSU shouldn't have even been there, they should have lost at least three games...Purdue for sure was won on an offensive pass interference no call. Then again, Miami probably should have lost 1 maybe 2 games.

  8. I have talked to several former players from my old high school at Richmond Sr who played college ball and a few who played pro ball like Mike Quick(Eagles), Lewis Breeden(Bengals) ,Perry Williams(2 rings with the Giants), Tony Horne(Ring with the Rams) ,Oscar Sturgis(3 Rings with the Cowboys) and the Richmond Sr LB ,playing the Jaguars. They all told me if a player has a injury they go after him and it is common to try to take out the star player in college and pro.Who do I believe?? Someone who has played D-1 ball and NFL ball or you???

I can buy the going after a wounded animal theory but knowing that "payback is a bitch" theory why bother

The intent is to hurt them, not injure them. There is a big difference.
You hurt a guy in FB terms, it's more mental than physical. Like the WR that goes over the middle, you want to give him a shot to make him think about it next time.
An Injury on the other hand is a medical thing.
