that kid from oklahoma is growing on me though.

rumor out of miami tonight is that the players are all saying he busted ligaments.

 

I'd say he shredded all kinds of shit in there. You hate to see it happen to a kid (or anyone) like that. Even if you assume the very best for him, he's looking at 20 months (at least) before he's "right" again - if at all.

I am die yard Miami fan.I thought the hit was a cheap shot.Trying to end someones career is just wrong.Hope Willis is able to bounce back.I think the hit was done on purpose.Miami and Willis were starting to crank it up.

 

Wasn't cheap. Clean, middle of the field. First day of football I was told in the open field, go for legs.

Yeah Lar, after watching the Oklahoma game, I was wondering why I'm not hearing more about him. Size, speed, he's got it.

Another thought is Musa. You aren't hearing anything because this is his first injury free year. But he is talented. He could work here.

 

I thought it was a cheap shot too . . . and I'm not a Miami fan. It looked like his knees were a target to me.

 

Mark me down as a clean shot. Sweeping his legs, done on every play in football. Just had his cleat in the ground and got caught. Tough break

I hate to see ANYONE hurt. Particularly a good player just about to get his chance to turn pro.

No one was going for his knees early in the game when they were stopping him.Willis was getting cranked up and Ohio States big defense could not catch him as he headed outside.Cheap Shot.I must be looking at a different replay??
