I wouldn't be surprised if Houston didn't grab him in the second round. They can afford to wait on him and he is descent risk for them. If he makes it to our second rounder I would take him, especially if we go somewhere besides RB in round 1.

He will be back and a lot of teams will regret not taking the chance on this guy.

damaged goods. Every NFL team doctor knows that injury will take AT LEAST a year to heal (the season is over for most teams). You'll basically be drafting a guy to put on IR. Since this was really the only season he played, there will be questions about his durability. Someone will get a mid round comp pick and take him there.

If he tries to comeback too fast, he'll just get hurt again.

Luke Staley had bad knees but was supposabley healed...he went in the 7th round with a comp pick. If he hadn't been injured, he'd gone in the 2nd round. He ended up fucking up his knee running wind sprints.

Some team with an aging RB (like TN) will take him knowing he won't have to make an impact or even play his freshman year.

Didnt read all the posts so this may have been said. I think WM is willing to gamble on a smaller contract this year rather than everyone finding out he cant play and he winds up with nothing but the policy. He must know he is worth more than $2 million even with the injury to take a chance like this.

We shouldn't even consider taking him until atleast our second 4th round pick at the earliest. But defnitely some team will reach for him in round 2 or 3. He might as well be considered a "project".

I didn't see his first ACL injury, so I can't comment on that, but that injury from the Fiesta bowl was more than just an ACL/MCL tear. That was a nightmare.

the only player I can think of that was drafted with as severe of an injury was Tai Streets out of Michigan. He tore his achilles tendon two weeks before the draft. He was projected by most to be a 2nd rounder but SF gambled and took him in the 6th.

McGimpKnee will probably be drafted by the 4th round from what I'm reading.

After tearing both ligaments in his knees, it would be foolish for any team to draft him this year.

Did you see how stupid the guy looked in his ESPN interview? Clearly he's going for the money. He'll never be the back he was prior to the injury.
