Shula? Again, solid coach but no feel for him as a technician. Bates, like others, are better but definitely more caustic. Or you can go old like Hackett.

Would Chuck Cecil the Titans DC that was fired recently be a fit somewhere in our def coaching staff??

I don't fucking know how Gross got voted in.

Yep. Plenty of teams can use him, too.

With the Probowl announcement, my exact words were "You have got to be kidding!" Gross is one I've seen numerous times this year just STANDING there after he blocked his guy, making no effort to move toward where the play was going. Sort of it's not my job type attitude. I want guys to care enough and be fiery enough that they don't stop until the play ends. He just seems to be a do what he HAS to and no more type guy.

The probowl is easy to get into after you do it once, this is especially true of lineman.

wanted to get back to this, because I do remember thinking Schottenheimer had a good called game after what I'd consider a number of poor ones before that.

Which works, because I didn't want him here.

yep. And, there aren't many good tackles in the NFC. With Jamaal Brown allowing himself to be found out as awful as he really is, and Walter Jones retired.
