    To make the ABC suffer.

    Actually,

I kinda expected them all to go. may will be the one to piss me off cuz he said he's staying and then bolt. That would be unprofessional. Or NBA-like.

The announcement is just a formality stating that McCants is leaving for the NBA, something everyone already knew. But Felton is going to announce that he's leaving sometime soon too. And although I'm a Carolina fan, I hope May decides to enter the draft as well, because there would be no better time for him personally. Meanwhile I think Marvin should and will stay, for while he could be the top pick overall, he could still develop and be a better basketball player over the long run by playing another year of college, unlike May.

Yeah, things will definitely be tough next year with Duke looking so strong, but we don't get to whine for a while after winning a national championship.

Personally I don't think McCants is all that. From what I saw of him this year if everyone stays but him UNC will not miss a beat.
Duke has a better recruiting class but UNC faired well also.

without Rashad McCants UNC doesn't win a NCAA title this year.

He will be a better pro than most people are giving him credit for. I wish him the best of luck.

I wish him well also but McCants will be a Chris Washburn in the pros at best.

McCants would have struggled in the NBA if this were the 1980s, but it isn't. In today's NBA he'll be a star.

He ain't got it like that man. In the championship game this year, you barely noticed that he was there. All the focus was on May, Felton, Williams and Williams. If he's the 5th focal point of that particular team on that particular occasion, he will not be a star in the NBA.
