    Agreed. Why anyone would ever lease a car is beyond me.

    Y2, we're just trying to advise you that the lease isn't the way to go. It just screams of impulse buy. You just got into a house, you drive a beater truck and she has a minivan. And that's ok. if you really feel like you need a newer car, go for it. But you know as well as I do that new cars have markup like nothing else, and that you'd probably be pissing money away on a status symbol. If you gotta do something, get into a 3 year old car and drive the shit out of it.

    I hear ya, but I still might lease the deal in the commercial if it was available...hell, she was leasing when I dated her and I told her to say goodbye to leasing if we get married :D

    Car leases are for people that want to drive more car than they can afford. Don't do it. You'll be throwing your money away and have nothing to show for it in 3 years. Except for a bill for the over miles
