You’d be better off to buy it on a home equity line of credit.

she hates the van, she's getting a new car anyway...going from a minivan to any '05 BMW should be a good thing

buy one a year or two old and own the thing. Ive never understood why anyone would rent a car that you can only drive 12,000 miles a year. thats 32 miles a day. I couldnt even drive it to work everyday. I'd have to take the bus one day a week and park it on the weekends.

even if you do lease it...that payment information is based on paying full sticker. paying anything more than dealer invoice is foolish. they should also tell you what interest rate you are getting...mileage allowance....etc.

a lot of times leases sound good on the surface...then when the lease is over, you have to buy for a hell of a lot more than it is worth because you've put too many miles on it which cost $$$.

yeah, I'm so not into leasing...but by the time you pay on something 3 years to own, you'd be lucky to not be upside down in it

You'll be upside down on this if you go over miles or scratch it.

    NOt suggesting anything, just FYI.

If you bough a 2 year old Accord with $3500 down, I don't see you being upside down.

You could spend $300 a month on an Accord or anything else just as easy. Might as well drive something a little nicer. I thought about getting an X3 with a similar deal as this. In the end, I'm just not a lease person. In another few months, I may buy one. I'm going to pit the X3 salesman against a Toyota 4Runner salesman, and if I can get the X3 for just a bit more than the 4Runner, I may take it.
