OK Back on topic. Outside observer here. Roy evidently made the comment in the observer today that he would recommend May staying to work on his mid range jumper and footwork. seems to me if Sean May is a first round.....possibly lottery pick, would he not be better served to work on this, where hes playing basketball year round, (not going to class)under the guidance of people who have invested alot of money in him.(Aren't the UNC coaches restricted part of the year??) I mean how will it help to play vs MOST big people who will never step foot on a court in the NBA. Hes a big man in a small mans game. He goes to the draft, gets picked high, works on his mid range jumper and footwork, all while being paid for it. How bad can that be?? Now if Roy wants him back to play center for him next year.....say it. But don't act as if he will never improve if he goes pro.

I like how "outside observers" who are fans from other ACC teams come up with some of this. Furthermore May has said that if he's a guaranteed top 10 he'd more likely evaluate entering the draft. He's not there. Lottery maybe, 1st round probably, but he's not a sure top 10. Furthermore he'll be considered too short for the pro game. He's been recorded at heights from 6-7 to 6-9. With most people saying he's shorter than 6-9. That'll hurt his draft stock when he enters. Its really getting comical how it seems other ACC fans are doing their damnedest to get the UNC players pushed out the door.

May just carried his team to a national title what more is there for him to accomplish in the college game? He is not going to play facing the basket at Carolina.

Yea right, If I had any influence over him, the SOB would have never came to Carolina. I was merely making an observation. I promise not to tell Sean any of this!!
