    May

    MPG - 24
    PPG - 15.4
    RPG - 9.5
    APG - 2.0
    BPG - 1.1

Not bad when compared to SWilliams who I would consider the best big man in the ACC.

    SWilliams
    MPG - 33.7
    PPG - 16.3
    RPG - 11.8
    APG - 0.8
    BPG - 3.6

May projected for same amount of minutes
    MPG - 33.7
    PPG - 21.6
    RPG - 13.3
    APG - 2.8
    BPG - 1.5

Watching him play last night, he really showed how hard he had worked to get into shape. Just the one play where he kept pace with Hodge and jumped as high as he did for the block was pretty amazing. I just don't recall May ever doing something like that.

Haywood I agree is way better than Shav, but Sanders is a push. Now Damian Grant is a whole other story.

Giving May the same minutes Williams gets would not necessarily mean his stats would go up like that. In fact they might go down since he would not be as fresh when he is playing. Williams is in better shape than him and can handle the minutes.

Years past I would agree. This year could be his production goes down, but I don't think it would, for example last when he wasn't in as good of shape as this year he averaged 4 more minutes a game. So this year he is in better shape so reason to think he could perform at a level better than last year.

By your logic, SW could have better stats if he didn't play as many minutes.
