    Matt Pinto doing baseball

    Former Charlotte Hornets announcer Matt Pinto is going to be the play-by-play man for the Great Falls, Mont. minor league baseball team this summer. This is a rookie league level team. Pinter is also an announcer for the L.A. Clippers.

    It's Matt PINTO (thought he was great, though a tad dry) and I find it odd he would take a job out there in that level of baseball (unless he hasn't done a lot of baseball and wants to cut his teeth in the low minors.) Good for him, I guess. Too bad he can't get in on some radio during the playoffs since the Clips have home court in round one and might actually win a playoff series for the first time in a decade.

    Didn't he do AAA once?

    I thought Matt Pinter (Pinto) might have done some Triple A baseball before, but I'm not sure.

    Matt Pinter, I mean Pinto was with the Mavs for 8 years, 4 radio, 4 television. he is with the Clips now. he was the original host of Primetime on WFNZ before Packer took over. he split to go to the Mavs. he was about as dry as a bucket of sand
