    Last year this time everyone wanted to get Derek Anderson. I will pass on paying big money to a one year wonder QB.

    Does Cassell remind anyone of a Scott Mitchell? He was lights out for the Dolphins, just a huge pocket presence and big arm, yet when he went to a team without much offensive talent he folded quickly. Probably an unfair comparison but I'm just not sold on Cassell for the price.

    I'm not certain that's an accurate comparison, they're not that much alike. Mitchell had a bigger arm and no athleticism, Cassel is athletic and has enough arm but not a cannon.

    That he excelled in circumstances that are unlikely to be reproduced? Yeah. I think he can, but not necessarily will, succeed in a WCO style offense, and can manage a game well.
