He's going tonight. Without me  I still haven't seen the second one, so I guess it's understandable.

How could you not have seen Reloaded? I figured it would've been running non-stop since it came out on DVD...

Oh it has...believe me it has :(, but just not in the same room as me :)

It's not my type of movie, so I'll pass for as long as possible.

yeah but from what i remember he has no intention of making any others or giving the rights to any others after the next movie. Besides there are hundreds of books out there too, doesn't mean they are movie quality.

I went tonight - and was very disappointed.

I thought the third installment sacrificed plot for eye candy. There were several scenes that were so fucking busy that I thought I was about to have a seizure from all the movement on the screen. :(

I hate what they did (or rather didn't do) with several of the characters from the second film: Persephone, Merovingian, the Twins, the other Agents, etc.

Either they just weren't in there or their roles completely sucked.

The big BattleTech-like fight in the docking bay between the Squids and the humans was cool as hell but after ten minutes of seeing the humans fire heavy weapons into the docking bay's dome ceiling I was getting not only bored but couldn't figure out exactly how the hell the ceiling was keeping from collapsing.

The final battle between Smith and Neo was cool - until they started doing all the superman shit - then it just turned comical.

All in all I give the movie 2 1/2 out of 5 stars. The ending was good but it just seemed to me that the writers were trying to cram too much into too little amount of film. The result was an hour and a half of special effects and very little more.

And yes, I liked the first two prequels very much.
