I don't know about you but I, and I can only speak for myself, have had some pretty darn outlandish thoughts pertaining to e.g. sexuality. Many of which are definitely taboo according to society. The thoughts collided with laws of nature and civil and criminal laws to boot:D. Until I realized what was going on, I thought something was wrong with me and felt guilt. I went through a lot of guilt before I accepted that guilt had very little to do with actually solving the dilemmas and was just a natural emotional/mental stage of development. Heck, guilt can take on a life of its own. But I don't think it is unnatural, just can get out of control/obsessive like anything else.

If you've seen my art in the Cafe, you know how outlandish my "thoughts" can be. As a teenager I was sure I was perverted and sick, maybe even insane. But finding out I wasn't alone by way of the Internet, I was deeply relieved and the proverbial "great weight" was lifted off my back.

I now have a very relaxed and almost detached philosophy about my own fantasy/art style, which doesn't pertain to our purposes here. But when I wallowed in guilt over it, I was unstable, miserable, and alienated. Accepting it led to overcoming all that. So it should come as no surprise why I have no patience for unqualified prudery.

IMO...as long as I dont kill myself or someone else, I'm going to heaven. No matter how many filthy dreams I have, coveting thoughts I have or infedel acts I commit.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

In other words, treating all sexual expressions (without a license, i.e., marriage) as dirty and bad automatically. When someone talks about how sexual restraint prevents unwanted pregnancies and sexually transmitted diseases, I have no problem with that. That's a smart and valid consideration based on factors in the objective world. It's the puritains who preach the guilt-and-shame idea and treat erotica as contraband that I disagree with.
