Williams is the all-time sack leader now....hope he stays!

 

State has much to be proud of...those wins over Middle TN State, Eastern KY, and Southern MS were very impressive. Maybe next year, they'll schedule TN, KY, and Ole MS....if they do well against that, they may get a real bowl.

Let's not forget how they fared against the Tar Heels this year...so lets keep the trash talking to a minimum.

If you say I'm just a bitter Tar Hole who is jealous of the fact that State is bowl eligible...you may have a point, I am jealous. But at least we got our 5 wins (possibly 6 with an upset of VT) against a real schedule. To be honest, if this keeps ol' Chuck around longer, I'm happy about it.

 

Anyone with an ounce of brain matter knows schedules are made out years in advance, so no one really knows how tough OOC's will be. You can't tell me Carolina didn't schedule Utah and Louisville because they thought they'd be tough games.

 

maybe not, but i'm sure State scheduled MIDDLE tn, EASTERN ky, and SOUTHERN ms because they KNEW they would be easy games.

your excuse is just that...an excuse. you are trying to justify that piss poor schedule to yourself, but there is no way you can.

Even so, N.C. State was smart for scheduling those teams and getting to a bowl game. Most recruits don't remember who they played out of conference as much as they do the fact that the school got to a bowl game, and you get another month of practice in. If UNC wants to schedule Louisville and get blown out instead of playing Texas State or something and winning that's your fault. I keep hearing how well the schedule is that Tar Heels play, but how many of those teams did they actually beat. They beat a down Utah team, and lost to Wisconsin and blown out by Louisville. UNC might have the better team, but State is going to the bowl, and i know that makes UNC fans mad. I can't believe I'm arguing about the state of North Carolina college football. UNC is probably the best of the mediocres

 

When OOC strength of schedule means something in college football, let me know. Otherwise keep your fat trap shut.

the point is state got thier wins against a chump ass schedule - no matter whether it was scheduled last year or last century

state sucked major ass this year - and you knew it as you poured the koolaid down the drain

Easy Guys It was funny as hell to the TarHeel Fuckers when Mack Brown was playing the Army Navy and Coast Guard every year, Mixed in with Tulane, UTEP a Texas Southern , Houston Etc Etc. But it got him to 7-4 . You sure a hell wasn't whining then. Colin Cowherd hit the nail on the head last week when he said that everybody that thinks they are being burned by the system have benefited by it some time or other.
