He's the best freshman to come into the ACC in a long time. Will he go this year or next?

I'm on the fence on this one. Marvin seems to really be having a fun time at UNC, and part of me says he'll be back at LEAST next year. I am however concerned that the possible NBA age limit on the horizon could cause him to jump ship a little earlier than he originally intended to. Plus I don't know that his stock could be any higher than it is right now.

Heard Woody Durham on Czaban yesterday, said that Williams high school teams werent that good, and that this is the first time he has really won games before. having a lot of fun playing right now. didnt say anything about the age limit . said as with all Tarheel players who are thinking of going pro, they have Roy, Dean, heads of the Legal and Finance departments , player and parents interview potential agents, and then weigh all options. not the typical slick agent takes a kid out to eat and tells him what he wants to hear. if hes a lottery pick he could go, but this kid has loved the Heels his whole life. hope thats enough to have him stick around .

I'm a Duke fan, but I hope he stays around for one more year. He's a pleasure to watch.

I think he stays one more year - with just Jawad Williams gone he will get alot more playing time - and if Sean May goes pro, which isn't likely but possible the interior offense would flow through him and he would put up monster numbers

And it's his inside game he needs work on - he still doesn't always look that strong under the basket on offense or defense - one more year at UNC he would likely learn and improve more than he would in the NBA.

He's good as gone. IF he say I would be even more shock than the announcement of Matt Leinheart coming back to USC for football.

Don't know about that yet, until we even get a hint he is gone, I think it's a good chance he stays.

Of course there are several things still left that could determine whether he goes or stays.

UNC winning it all this year.
Who else if any leave early from UNC/other teams.

    just to name 2....

who else leaves early really won't affect him...he's top 5 easily right now. Hell he would of been lottery last year.

At this point I think he is top 5, but I think that is only part of what he will consider.
