Martz

I went with the Giants this week, not because of the Giants, but because of Martz. It's a simple solution of just giving the ball to Faulk, and that offense will right itself. But Martz has to have it his way. The blueprint for beating them is there, is Martz's ego going to keep him from winning with the Greatest Show on Turf?

Its usually the "coach" or the "qb" that gets the blame. Me I have not seen them play this year other than SportsCenter. I will say Martz has made several moves, even when the Rams were kicking ass that I thought were pretty fucking stupid.

 

He's made some dumb ass play calls. You could argue the brocno loss was his fault. His problem is that the talent is being eroded away via free agency and they aren't replacing it. He used to have the talent level so high that a 13 year old could call the plays. Crouch in the 3rd round was a real bright move too...."light years away from playing"...I guess you wasted a 3rd round pic then, right?

The way Warner is getting beat, he won't last the whole season.

 

Warner's holding the ball more. They broke him down on ESPN last night where teams with good rush linemen were beating him with four guys. I mean St. Clair does suck at RT but overall they have an OK line and they're giving him up to 5 seconds. Kurt isn't unloading the ball as fast and it's hurting him.

 

Control Marshall and control the Rams. Warner gets impatient too easy - as does Martz. People have figured out the Rams and their defense still isn't good enough to win them games.

Cover 2 and a good Marshall plan beats the Rams everytime.

Also, looks like the Steelers defense is getting figured out as well. Short, quick routes against LB coverage is killing them right now.

 

I caught some game with the NFL ticket.

That last pick Warner throw, the announcer kept saying he threw a poor pass. Well, it was a tight spiral, the WR broke outside and he threw inside.

I don't think the Rams are playing that bad, just making some mistakes and teams are playing them better. Cover 2 seems to be the trick, but hopefully Martz will figure out to smack those Bucs though. Bucs have won the last 2 times they've played.

Martz kinda ran his mouth a little too, I think he likes the media circus.
