So I have these cool martini glasses I'd like to use, and thinking tonight might be a good night as it's boring as heck here. Anyone got a GOOD recipie?
I'm not crazy about real dry stuff, nor too sour. Other then that I like fruits and the taste of most liquors. I do like bitters too.

Martinis aren't often on fru-fru "Martini drink" lists at trendy bars/restaraunts. Stupid Sarah Jessica Parker and her Cosmopolitans.

Just toy with the mix, don't buy that much vermouth. Expect to taste liquor and you'll be fine. Most people don't seem ready to actually taste liquor when I make drinks at parties, and they come away disappointed. So I only make drinks for my friends. Bitches.

I drink Martinis made with Bombay Blue Sapphire Gin.

I put 2-3 oz. gin in a shaker with crushed ice and add crushed ice to the martini glass. Might add on olive to the shaker.

dump the ice from the glass when it is frosted, pour 1/2 oz of vermouth in the glass, swirl to coat the glass and then dump out the vermouth.

Shake gin and ice until shaker is froster, strain into glass, garnish with three olives.

The shaken gin should be cloudy with ice when strained.
