A group of high energy honky-tonk rockers who can also sing sensitive ballads, Confederate Railroad’s offbeat humor has brought them both chart success and continued popularity as a road band.

Songs like "Queen of Memphis", "Trashy Women", "Jesus and Mama", and "Daddy Never Was The Cadillac Kind" helped to name them the Academy of Country Music's Best New Group in 1993 and earned them a Grammy nomination.

The well known drag sequence in "Trashy Women" got them a nomination for Best Country Video by the CMA in 1996. For more information visit www.confederaterailroad.net.
