    It really doesn't matter because once you are married, everything is 50-50 in this state.

    I would open an account now just in your name at a separate bank from the joint accounts and put a little away every now and then just in case. It also comes in handy when buying gifts for her...or for gambling money, guys only trips, etc. The best bet would be a safe deposit box.

    We did 100% joint...about a year before we married. Do keep your credit cards seperate. At least we did, and it's worked out like a charm.
