    Thank Goodness. Beckett was awesome. Screw the Yankees.

    Although I will say that Joe Torre is a class guy. He was disappointed but had nothing but nice things to say.

    The Yankees were beaten by great pitching. shut their bats down they can't win. bernie williams was about 70% of their offence. that don't cut it. i said it last week the marlins are the better team.

    Congrats to the Marlins.Talking about bats being shutdown.The Yankee starters really shut down the Marlins.The fish only scored 17 runs in the 6 game series,and about 5 of them were unearned.I agree the starters from the Marlins slowed the Yankee bats down,but they did score 21 runs in the series.The Yankees actually outhit and scored more runs than the Marlins and lost the series.

    The only thing that really matter though is 4 games to 2,and the Marlins won this battle.

    The Marlins looked like they were destined to win the whole thing from the moment Mr. Bartman swatted that ball away from Alou.

    It should be an interesting off season for all the teams.
