    This should prove that a high payroll doesn't guarantee you the title every year . . . . I wonder if Steinbrenner would be stupid enough to fire Cashman and/or Joe Torre :rolleyes: :rolleyes: . . Its not their fault that they lost, its the cold Yankee bats that doomed them this time.

    By the way, where in NC is Jack Mckeon (Marlins Manager) from ? I'm sure a few Carolina Mudcats fans are celebrating tonight as well (they are the Marlins AA ballclub) :) . .
