ESPN saying if you were a marlin making any money you just got traded to Toronto. Josh Johnson, Jose Reyes, Mark Buhrele and another traded for prospects. Must suck to be a Marlin fan

I don't know. I'm sure a lot of fans of other teams would like those two world championships in the last 15 years.

They`ll be lucky to average 5000 a game next season.

The problem is that they just signed those players as part of their fraud to get Floridians to pay for their new stadium. MLB should institute some sort of rule that free agents signed to contracts of three or more years cannot be traded for the first 18 months. I don't think he has the grounds to do so and therefore would get challenged in court, but I wish Selig would veto this deal as being against the best interests of baseball.

Think this kind of bait and switch will get brought up the next time a team asks for city or state money. Marlins sucked this year spending millions. Even playing rookies all they have to do is play similarly or a bit better and Lurie comes out smelling like a rosr

Why anybody who lives in Miami would give a fuck about baseball is beyond me. I think it's amazing that anybody attends those games.
