    Solarte:

I saw the show a few times during football season, it wasn't bad at all, though what was the deal with all the different "visions"? It's a shame Mark Washburn hasn't given the show much newsprint.

The funniest thing about Packer doing a TV show was the part about modeling the show after The Best Damn Sports Show Period. Now there's a good blueprint to follow.

I watched your show Solarte a lot during high school football season and enjoyed it. Man that must be a challenge doing it on the fly the way you have to with the scores and video coming in right as you air it almost. I like the way you roll the scores instead of teasing the entire show like Channel 9 and Channel 3 do with high school football. It would be nice if you got more of the scores.

    Hey Thanks for the props...

the different visions was my own way of givingcredit to the photographers who shot the gamees for us...Adam butler was "Butler Vision"...and so on. The "visions: was my little way of saying thanks to the fellas on the air.

the 30 minute show airs at 11 pm 7 nights a week. I know you sat guys can't see it, and that;s cool, but you cable folks need to jump on board, lest you be thrown under the bus! Kidding.

Thanks to all who have seen Sports Night, and a thanks in advance who will check us out in the future.

Mike: You really need to consider doing a one hour version of SPORTSNIGHT with NEWS14 in the Triangle: Make it a local version of PTI, where you have guests, a call in segment, point/counterpoint . . . . call it CAROLINA SPORTSNIGHT with me as Executive Producer :) . . . .

BTW, did you know that the SPORTS MEDIA column is now dead   . . . Bastards at CLT.com pulled the plug on the forum without even telling me about it . . . The bums   !!!!!!!
