I just saw Mariucci was released from his contract in San Fran. This is good news to us Del Rio fans.

This could be a big help if Del Rio hasn't locked it up already but Weaver IMO will interview him just for shits and giggles.

He should sprint to Jax - or anywhere else for that matter. Even though they (Jags) have a boatload of upcoming cap problems at least Mooch won't have two guys looming over his shoulder all the time. Weaver is no saint, but he's not worshipped like Walsh is in SF either.

I have a feeling he'll be in Jax.

Weaver made a big point about not giving up draft picks for a coach. Why would he make that point if discussions with SF hadn't occurred?

And it wasn't until after this point was made that Mooch was released.

I hope we don't loose Del Rio. We have a chance to be good next year.

Go Mooch Go.....to Jax that is. Interesting turn of events over the past couple of days to say the least.

I sure hope Jack decides to stick it out here.

Very interesting. Guess Denny's in in SF, and we're spared a while.
Wonder if there's still gonna be a GM if Mooch goes to Jax?

This is good. I had a feeling if Mooch stayed, Del Rio was a goner.

Most of the jag fans over at their newspaper board want del rio.

Could Del Rio end up in San Fran?
