Jobey would do the same thing as well, but he was a great FT shooter.

Right on. He should also be in when Plavich and Brown are cold and teams still want to D the 49ers with a zone. Like Temple.

Demon did have problems running the offense. But, if he does this year, he has to take a seat on the bench. Period. He can be a hero no longer just by shooting threes. It has to be about team. Last year, he was the leader because everyone else chose not to have onions. You have to admit, Demon does not back down. But, the taste of 13-16 made him puke. I hope he remembers that taste.

ONions has nothing to do with Demon shooting so much last year. Withers, and maayyyybe Grier were the only guys who could legitly complain that they were being blown off in the offense. Reed, Butter, Basden? Did they prove they could consistently hit shots?

In tonight summer league game Bennett had 26 pts(17 in the 1st half) and looking very good. He had four 3 pointer and had a few mid range shoots. He was running the point the entire game and played most of the game.

His defense did not look that good- he was beaten to the whole a few times.

From what I saw, I would be surprised if he is not the starter his Jr year- I saw no reason that he should not be the start then. The only advantage that I think Baldwin has over him is quickness and defense.

Thanks Pcon. I hope this will transfer into a solid 20 minutes a game.
