    On HBO.

    Pretty good show about Mickey and all his goods and bads. Lots of interviews with the people closest to him and some longtime celeb fans.

    When they showed how many broken bones and serious injusries he had, it's hard to believe he hit so many homers.

    can you imagine a healthy mantle playing anywhere other than yankee stadium. tony kubek says he would have hit 1,000 homeruns had that been the case.

    but if and ands were pots and pans...

    Mantle hit 266 home runs at home and 270 on the road during his career, so there's no particular reason to think he'd have more if he had played elsewhere.

    Agreed Collin.............and can you IMAGINE what his numbers would have been if he had taken care of himself?! (Mantle intimated the same thing himself before he died).
