    Pitt's Chris Taft and Carl Krauser will both declare for NBA draft.

    don't you want to be close to positive you'll be a first round pick (and get guaranteed money) before you declare for the draft?

    I've read where Taft is actually rated top ten by the few resources I checked.

    As long as they don't sign with an agent and it's not the second time they declare then I don't blame them for testing the waters.

    there are officially 138 top-10 players available for the draft.

    I agree that Taft is in a higher class than Krauser (another Khalid el-Amin IMO). Several mocks don't even have him (or Kennedy Winston, who's declared) being drafted.

    Isn't there a new rule, similar to the NFL, going into effect after this year, that says you have to be at least two years removed from your high school class, in order to be drafted? If that's true, there may be a bunch of high school players jumping into the draft this year.

    I see where Francisco Garcia might be changing his mind.
