    Congratulations to South Caldwell graduate Madison Bumgarner on his 1st Major League victory over the Brewers 6 - 1. Madison went 8 giving up 3 hits walking 3, and striking out 5.

    It didn't take a genius to see that kid had the makings of a Major League pitcher when he was in high school. I saw him several times and it was obvious that he was cut from a different bolt of cloth. Great to see him get the first win and hope he has many more.
