No, that's easy compared to the current system. Now you have to flick both control sticks down, alternating between them, but if you do it too fast or screw up the rhythm, your player stumbles and you lose massive time. I imagine that after doing it 5000 times I'll just get the hang of it for 4.5s and maybe 4.4s, but right now I'm usually running in the high 4.7s.

Also depends on the position of your player. My superstar QB can't run under 5.20 so far.

Got my superstar QB down to 4.92 in the 40, and my best on the bench press is 39 reps thus far. Anyway, playing against the Panthers defense in superstar mode is brutal. Stupid EA also let unlocked players be used in your career modes too, so Carolina signed Hall of Fame RB Steve VanBuren and is now ridiculous on both sides of the ball.

if you have xbox live, you can download the roster used for playing online and save it, and load it up before you start superstar mode, the hall of famers are only added when you boot up the game or gain a madden level. there's a way to play without the HOFers in your career modes, it's just a pain in the ass to load the right roster and shit. there's a better explanation in the forums at operationsports.com

I unfortunately ended up beating the Panthers thanks to a Jake INT returned for a touchdown, but I made up for it by beating the Falcons 48-10 in my next game. According to Madden, Atlanta's run defense still sucks ass and their safeties aren't too bright either.

By EA's ranking, Baker should be our third QB, not Mangum.

I highly recommend this game for XBox. My brother has the PC version, and that is also very good.

I'm not a fan of the 360, though.
