I got the xbox version the day it was released but didn't get to play until last night.

Very fun with the scouting and preseason in franchise mode.

They sure are high on Hoover. He's pro bowled twice.
Peppers hasn't improved much, but he's solid.
    Grant has improved a ton.
    Morgan has, too.
    Jenkins improved.
    Terry is like world class.
Foster's missed most of his career with injury.
    Weinke sucks completely.
    Vinson improved.

What did you do? Run through a couple of seasons on "automatic play" and then just look at the stats?

I like simulating 30 years. Darfting guys, developing, and then simulating.

I'm only on year 3 or 4 now. Weinke got the boot after 2002.

It's obsessive. I take notes. I play the damn thing for 10 hours staright. Don't eat or piss.

The wife is unhappy. She'll be unhappy again soon.

My God Steve Smith is slow. Twice in the same practice game versus the Patriots on a kickoff, I managed to get Steve Smith past the first 2 lines of defense with a clean shot at the endzone only to be caught from behind by TWO players. Give me a break! they must have his speed somewhere in the 70's.

And you are right. Someone at EA Sports likes Hoover because he had great hands and was damn hard to bring down.

Now if I can only get used to the change in controls. Two questions on that: 1) On punt return, how do you call a fair catch. 2) How do you send a receiver in motion? (I couldn't find either in the rule book).

    Clay....anyone....

Is this game decent for the PC as well? I tend to shy away from sports games on the PC because the console versions are so much better and designers tend to favor the console versions over those for the PC. But this is one I was thinking about getting.

heh I don't have a gamepad for my pc, and i can't stand playing sports games without a pad, so I have no clue, i just play the franchise mode :)
