well i said I enjoyed NCAA and got blasted by haters saying it sucks. I'd like to see those same people even say they like this rehashed trash.

I even had it since friday and played 6 or 7 games, the only thing cool abvout this is some of the RB animations with the highlight stick.

 

Really? I was kind of lukewarm to it at first because of some of the changes in graphics and gameplay (the players are somewhat stretched like 2k5, and the play is a little looser like that series as well), but the more I play it the more I really like it. The passing cone is still challenging (actually even moreso with a 360 controller), and the new blocking elements in the run game are awesome. Plus the presentation really went up a notch with the action between snaps, which also happen to really show you how graphically impressive it is. Hell, even superstar mode plays better.

Honestly I think people just decide to hate EA and Madden. I have yet to see even one legitimate complaint, it's all accusations about the games being rehashed, which is beyond moronic considering all the changes they make from year to year (while the 2k series remained almost exactly the same throughout, except for the addition of first-person mode).

And how did you get a copy Friday?

 

I like the xbox version better. I played the 360 and came away underwhelmed. Maybe it's the camera angle, or the fact that I'm so used to the current gen gameplay. Or maybe it just doesn't sound right without Madden and Michaels. Graphically, the stadiums are amazing, and the presentation has definitely picked up, but there's just something missing for me.

I don't like the player models, either. It almost makes the guys look out of shape.

On the EA Sports boards, the 360 users are seriously trashing Madden '07. I guess it's missing a lot of features from last year, and a lot of people have run into some bugs with it.

 

well for one, these's hall of famers that get into your franchise on the 360 version. The whole point of doing that to most people is to have a realistic thing going on. Seeing dead 99 overall players signing with your conference rival might be an annoyance.
