    1) Much better included applications for media creation and management. The iLife suite smokes anything else on the market and comes free with every Mac.

    2) Fantastic build quality. Not exclusively better than PC's, but many times better than a $500 laptop. Granted I've got a macbook pro, but I've never had a second's trouble with hardware or software in nearly 2 years. I know people with similar success with standard macbooks.

    3) the "Mac-iness" of it. There's something to be said for just the way macs work. It's hard to quantify, but things just seem to mesh better on macs in my experience. Add to that the support from the Apple store.

I'm not going to say Macs are better in every circumstance or beat every PC. But after using them for a little over 2 years, and using a PC for 2 decades before that, I can say Mac is much better for me.

    1. It's really hard to fuck up a MacBook.

    2. They are less suspect to virus and malware since most are written for Windows.

    3. It's simple to use.
