LMAO, dude your gonna have a heart attack. You must really be worried about a greater chance of dook playing second or third fiddle now.

Well, since K has been a coach for 23 seasons at Duke and a previous 6 at Army, I do not think that comparing their overall career records would really be the way to go. K is still ahead on both titles and Final 4 apearances after 15 years. If you look at their records for the 1st 15 years they are pretty similar. Duke had a great run in the late 80's - early 90's - and Kansas had begun a simliar run. Now we just have to see if Williams can continue his success in Chapel Hill. I don't really have a reason to think that he won't.

why would sly be worried about UNC hiring a coach that has done nothing better than second or third fiddle all of his career?

I'm happy Roy is at Duke. You can't be the best unless you are constantly beating the best competition.

However I think to say Roy is on equal footing with K is a little premature.....or at least a matter of perception. i wouldn't say Tiger is on equal footing with Nicklaus either. Some people were saying Terrell Davis was on equal footing with Barry Sanders or Walter Payton. Sure the potential is there but the record isn't yet.

Who won their last meeting? If we are talking about coaches. It's like all the dookies say, let's not talk about the overall numbers, let's talk about the most recent. Blah....blah..blah, sounds like crying to me. All this bitching and you guys haven't even played us yet.

K took over in 80??? I think that is right. By 95 K had two titles and I think 8 Final Four appearances. Since then he has added another title and two more Final Fours. Roy has a lot of catching up to do and only 8 years to do it comparatively.

Time will tell, but at least they get to decide at least twice a year now.
