The best team won the silver medal round....Should be another game this Saturday, but instead it will be a clouded championship for LSU....Should not have to be that way...

Saban said he was offered the opp. to play vs USC in a private game with any proceeds made being donated to charity...

...but the ONLY way that's gonna happen is if the schools are the recipients of the money

I don't buy into the hype. USC's just a better football team. They're somewhat dominating in every major area. LSU showed weaknesses.

I'd like USC against either LSU or OU.

Plus, IMHO Michigan played better than OU in their respective games even though both lost.

USC would beat LSU I think.

you guys smoke the crackrock. in an lsu/ou vs usc game, usc would be outplayed, outcoached, and flat out spanked. no doubt in my mind. they are the team that is hyped up here. either one of those defenses last night would shut them down to 2 tds maximum.

any valid reasons to think so? USC played a pretty flawless game, where both LSU and OU had breakdowns. Are you to suggest that they are both so good, they psyched each other out, or forced a ton of mistakes that USC would make?
Let's not forget that Michigan's not a terrible team either, nor that KSt didn't fare that well.

I thought Mags said it best in the other thread.

All 3 of them have nice D's, but the O's of USC and LSU are better than Oklahoma's.

Edit: I'd also add that for all the hype Saban and Stoops get, the USC coach is pretty good too.

I am of the collective mindset that USC is the better team, but I did really like seeing the grit LSU plays with and think the intangibles could be a deciding factor over a quality SC team.

The biggest flaw int he BCS here is simply the conference championship game deal. Losing your conf championship game should be a HUGE red flag for BCS bids and it is not. If they edgued OU out based on that simple concept we would have seen SoCal vs. LSU and the BCS system would be applauded for working...
