to his credit, i think he hit about 75% of his open looks. still, i don't know if this is a duke thing or what, but for 4 years shelden williams was absent down the stretch. duke desperately needs mike gminski to come be a coach.

i have never seen a Duke team collapse at the end of a game like that before. They were down 1 with 38 seconds. I had just told my wife that Duke should go ahead and foul but about that time they are getting a break away dunk that more or less ended it.

It was pretty bad. I've seen some collapses, but that last rebound by Big Baby was pathetic. Just pathetic, it shouldn't happen in damn pick-up league. Really indefensible.

That's what I mean, they looked beat down tired. Williams half ass block out is something you rarely see. Williams is a beast but he was tired

Boo. Coach K keeps insinuating that the officiating played a role in the "physicality" of the game and thus explains why Duke lost.

The refs were consistantly inconsistant. They didn't affect the outcome at all. Desire was the deciding factor and LSU had more.

very oddly officiated game. let them beat the hell out of each other in the paint but couldnt touch anyone otherwise. I bought into the conspiracy theory on sheldon williams' 5th foul that got called on paulus. williams was walking off the court.

Yeah that was a great play by the freshman, raised his hand immediately. He bought that call big time.
