Not really, it could have some rational explanation. The visions of the man on the beach who disappears, Locke's being healed and the "monster" worry me more.

There are other things I don't understand either. Like the pregnant chick going into labor in the first episode. Did it just end out of nowhere, or did the doctor guy go for medicine to stop her contractions? Either way, she went out of labor and they didn't even mention it. I wonder if she's going to have the baby, or will she just stay pregnant forever? It reminds me of Gilligan's Island. When are they going to start finding new clothes to wear? When are the Globetrotters going to show up?

It would not be uncommon for a woman in a tramatic situation like that to have false labor. They have only been there 5 days. They woudl not have worn out their clothes yet, plus they have a lot of extra clothes from the suitcases from the plane. I would not give any to Kate if I were them though.

The globtrotters are passe' they will have the cast of survivor come to the island as part of the show and leave the cast aways stranded for fear of losing the contest to them.

The ghost of Jack's dad leads him to water in the valley. But everyone's starting to get pissy with each other.

Excellent recaplet from TelevisionWithoutPity.com's Dan Kwa:

[IMG]What a fucking amazing night of television. A haunted protagonist fought through exhaustion, desperation, and the burden of responsibility for an entire community's physical and psychological health. The hero, against all odds, chased the ghosts of history -- and emerged triumphant. That's right: the long-cursed Boston Red Sox won their fourth game in a row over the New York Yankees to win the American League Championship Series, four games to three. Over on Lost, Jack's dad died in Sydney and Jack finds his coffin -- but not his body -- by a freshwater pool on the island.

I believe the polar bear was in the comic book the kid was reading in one of the first episodes.

I understand following the dead dad around the Island so he could lose that monkey on his back and go "be a leader" but hopefully they will stop that nonsense... the wild boars are ok that is not science fiction.

How long before someone gets laid? Who first? I say the black man and the married oriental lady.

Wow, just a few weeks back I had someone else in a different thread, different topic say that was the best post I had ever made... That is 2 now, if I get a 3rd in different topic does that make me a well rounded contributor to TBR? ;)
