    Hell I missed it, too. Had a bunch of newspapers fall on the floor during that scene.

    No but Sawyer realized that he actually met Jack's father and almost told him so...but now he has something on Jack. I wish someone would kill that fucker off.
    I really wish freckles would just get nekid!

    The guy Sawyer shot, was not the guy he thought it was. Robert Patrick developed an elaborate con to get Sawyer to bump him off because the guy owed him money.
    He started to read the letter and the guy corrected him, thus Sawyer still carries the letter.

    What do you think he has on Jack? Jack's father basically deified his son to Sawyer. No wonder he didn't say anything.

    Jack's father said some pretty good things about him despite Jack ratting him out. Jack feels responsible for his fathers death and knowing what Sawyer knows would really make him feel better.
    He talked about how Jack was a good man, a good doctor, and that he set him free or saved him or something like that?
