    they were supposedly going to the new world, so why skip it to get to the pacific.

    i'm thinking the island must "move" quite a bit.

    Yep, I enjoy the little details like that. I liked the callback to Jack & Desmond's first meeting in the stadium which also was the blowup between Penny & Des before his around the world adventure.

    i'd love to know just wtf the timeline in the sideways world is supposed to be.


    ben was on the island as a child, right? so is the divergence then at the time of the event? was everything up to that point the same mostly?

    i'm confused by this whole near-death experience being an means to see the other reality (remember juliette said "it worked" probably because she could see the other side herself as she neared death). anyway, did farady have a near-death experience when he saw charlotte? or does seeing some "true love" unlock things as well? what does that mean about kate and jack or kate and sawyer? not true enough love to spark some kind of flash?

    i still think jack's wife is going to be somebody special. could be juliette, tho their kid didn't look anything like her. a meeting of she and sawyer might trigger something.

    how come sun and jinn don't get a reaction? are they not in love enough? you'd think since their flight they'd both be tripping out, no?

    I once thought all the differences in their lives in the sideways world was due to the island exploding and Jacob not messing with their lives anymore.

    But now I think the sideways world is not completely real, or true. I like the theory of a "pleasant prison", keeping losties blind to the damage smokey does.

    Only Locke is with a man/woman he loves in sideways world. Jin/Sun are together, but she just got shot. Everyone else may just seem better off.
