Great show. The ending was good but kinda wished for a more climatic fight between Jack and fLocke. Other than that, no complaints.

can somebody explain what julliete meant by "it worked"? the phrase seemed so important at the time, but now i have no idea what she meant.

the goal of the nuke was to prevent them from ever arriving on the island. her saying "it worked" set up the sideways world as being a "rea"l alternate universe where the bomb actually did stop them from ever coming to the island. but since that ain't what the sideways world was, then what did she mean? it didn't work at all.

they were pretty clever about using mostly known dead people in the flashbacks to the island. this prevented awkwardness of having to show scenes of connections beyond the island. except for kate and clair -- presumably, their connection existed beyond their time on the island since they both left together. it would have been a nice to touch to show maybe arron graduating college or getting married since they both have such a stake in his future.

i don't think they handled ben very well. were he and widmore working together to trick "locke"? maybe it's just his character, but he seemed to switch sides very easily at the end so i don't know if he was really with locke or fooling him or what. i think he should have been the one to shoot locke at the end instead of kate. it would have been a perfect opportunity to shed light on ben's ultimate character -- jack or locke; good or evil? he could have been the guy to decide the fate of the world.

it was kinda interesting that he didn't want to attend the meeting thing, but then i'm not entirely sure why he was invited into this meeting place. maybe hurley? and why not ana lucia? if hurley has that kinda pull, you'd think he'd invite everybody.

overall tho, it was a decent end. it wasn't zomg amazing or anything, but it also wasn't "it was all a dream" bad or anything like that...

Maybe Ben didn't want to attend the meeting because he was still waiting for Alex. He wasn't ready to cross over until he was back with Alex.

Juliet's "It worked," "Let's have a cup of coffee," and "Kiss me, James" lines are the exact same lines she had when she and Sawyer had their moment in the afterlife with the vending machine. It was one of my favorite moments in the finale. "It worked" was about the vending machine, not the bomb. All you have to do is unplug it and then plug it back in.

Ben's character was always consistent in that he looked out for his own interests. I thought he was clear outside the funeral that he had some more things to work out before he would move on.
