Lost season IV

last night was AWESOME!

who are the oceanic six?

 

I'm pretty sure that only 6 people made it back to the "real" world, and that was the Oceanic 6. We know Jack, Kate, and Hurley are 3 of them, not sure of the others. Jack was talking to Kate about going back to the island in one of the "flash forwards" and she said no and goodbye. Not sure if she was going to Sawyer, or met somebody else, or who.

Hmmm. No Sawyer. I actually thought that was Sawyer in the car chase before Hurley jumped out.

 

Loved the Live Charlie fakeout.

Enjoyable episode. Felt like a good start.

 

i did, too. i thought it might be kate -- she likes to drive fast and hit things.

isn't that the camaro that hurley worked on with his dad?

 

the fact that we're all sitting here speculating on the 6 lets me know that this show hasn't jumped the shark. it's too intriguing. although, i did tell my wife that last nights show gave you enough questions to piss you off but at the same time draw you in for more at the end.

 

I'm glad I watched last night. I missed way too much to be able to enjoy this season if I hadn't tuned in.

who are these sinister people trying to work on hurley and why can't they fake a business card?

so jack seemed pretty with it in hurley's flash forward... how long before he freaks out and what causes it?

it's almost like they're trying to do a "memento" thing -- where this season will end where the flash forwards all start. will they play the flash forwards in reverse order? that would imply the last shot of season 2 would be the end of the story (which actually kind of works as an end of a story -- kate saying goodbye and jack still being lost).

who was the guy kate was talking about having to get back to in jack's ff? sawyer? i dunno. she makes a point to not use his name which could be significant or not -- people in this series tend to act extra mysterious for no reason. maybe it's a survivor or maybe it's not... if not, then who?

was the guy on the coffin one of the o6? locke maybe? jack would probably not call him his friend, but he might feel compelled to check him out. locke didn't have much family, so that would explain the lack of people there. and he was the most connected to the island so leaving it might have "done him in" quicker than the rest.

i'm still dubious of these flash forwards, but as long as it's not a "maybe" future i'll play along.
