    Why would closing the door save Desmond? Couldn't he have just swum out of the lab the same way he swam in?

    so i rewatched the flashforward stuff and i think the casket only looks small because of the wide angle lens used from the overhead shot.

    ben's name is ben. unless we're not to believe flashbacks. he wasn't born on the island, but he was born just outside portland and spent most of his life on the island. bentham could be somebody we haven't met yet.

    Wasn't this in the future? Maybe he got off the island just as Kate and Jack did. It's just a guess.

    During Ben's flashback, his mother said call him Benjamin, not Jeremy.
