The other interesting new story that I haven't seen mentioned is Locke lying to Jack about how AL got the bump on her head. and then having to fess up later saying "Jack, I have to tell you something"

yeah, that struck me as stupid on locke's part. who was he covering for exactly? ana lucia or henry? was he just pretending like nothing bad happened while jack was gone? but if he was, would jack wonder why henry was completely tied to the floor? would locke really have expected ana lucia to play it off like she did unless she had some ulterior motive?

it seems the characters are so duplicitous that their lies don't even make sense any more at times. they hide so much from each other that lengthy back strories need to be created to justify why people don't fucking talk to each other. on a deserted island, you'd think people would talk out of shear boredom, but not these people.

kate just barely let on about finding the others' costumes weeks after the fact. you'd think that would be something she's be really interested in telling people -- some vital piece of the puzzle about the others. but then, the whole story is predicated on nobody sharing their personal stories so that all the internacine historical connections they share won't come to the surface until they need to.

it's the one thing about the show that's a little annoying -- it's all so contrived.

Ok so a few weeks ago I read where the producers wanted to kill off Ana Lucia as quickly as possible because she was being a royal pain in the ass.

Guess I wasn't expecting it so soon, but I'm glad shes gone. I can't stand her and all her brooding.

I can't say I didn't see this coming a mile away. I knew when Michael crashed through those trees some kinda shit was up. And WTF kind of idiot hands over a combination AND a gun? It was not her decision to make if he should die or not. Shes not the fucking boss...Can't say I didn't LOVE the shock on her face when he popped her.

They better not let Libby die or I'll be pissed off. I want Hurley to find love and be happy for a change.

Sawyer is a total dumbfuck to fall for the oldest trick in the book. Saw that coming too. But I'll overlook his stupidity seeing as he hasn't had any in a while and they were a good match. Dumbass.

    Abrams: Lost Finale Will Shock

J.J. Abrams, co-creator of ABC's hit SF series Lost, told SCI FI Wire that this year's season-ending cliffhanger will be even more powerful than last year's. Abrams, who took some time off to direct Mission: Impossible III, said that his co-creator for the series, Damon Lindelof, has an ending that surprised even him.

"I can tell you that Damon Lindelof has done just that," Abrams said in a conference call interview. "The ending of this year in Lost blows the ending of last season out of the water. It's an incredible finale. You'll see what happens, but I can tell you that a lot of it has been there and been building from the beginning of this season. It's not out of the blue, but what happens at the very end of this year, for me, it's the greatest finale I have ever heard."

OK, Kate saw the fake clothes and beard...Claire saw them all dressed in lab whites and nice street clothes...Michael says they are all ragged and look like barbarians.

Someone is going to put this together. Michael got sucked into a deal with the others to get thier man back or kill him and he can be with his son, but I don't foresee them giving Walt up. Also, he was to make the group feel they could win a battle, leading them into an ambush?
Henry may have been sent there to get Locke as he says, but I still think his mission was to create internal battles for power and do recon to see what they have...which they probably already know.
