    So Walt, perhaps, had some kind of ability, only to have it enhanced so greatly by the island that the inhabitants were willing to kidnap him.

    My DVR box rebooted 20 minutes into the show. It said it was still recording but I can't access the file. Fucking bullshit.

    ok, here's a weird one.

    jj abrams, is the creator of lost. there's a guy from the early 1900s named dr. albert abrams who was determined to be a fraud -- he claimed to be healing people from disease with electromagnets.

    very interesting tie-in with all of the con action in the lost plot.

    the real mystery of lost is trying to figure out what it's about before it's revealed on the show.
