Lost In Translation..

no one knows what was whispered. actually, in interviews, she said it was a line or joke he made up. There was no written line for that scene. It's meant for us to image what he said..which means the director cheated. some will think of a real deep thing, while others will think he said meet me later or something.

 

That's sorta what I was thinking, but wanted to make sure I didn't miss something. She did smile are being sad and bummed because he left, so I vote either a funny joke or they are gonna hook up. It wouldn't make much since to say goodbye forever, then chase her down and say basically the same thing.

 

that he feels the same way she does. that he is in love with her as well! oh yeah, he thought about it in the limo. he went back down and found her in that crowd bec it had to be said!

i could tell you more, but i wont. it is better to let your imagination do it for ya!

obtw, i totally loved this movie! bought the dvd.

 

sure it would make sense to say goodbye forever! why spoil the beauty and depth of their short but meaningful friendship?

some people will not cheapen their deep feelings by giving into the needs of the flesh. not everything is about sex, you know. 99.9% is, but there is still that 1%! heheheh...

simple sweet words (without promise) can make one smile!
