Crap like that is why I'm a Bible-based Christian, and not a Southern Baptist.

Hey, we've all got our own cross to bear. I thought your daddy told you no one promised that life would be easy?!

Seriously Fred, are you still mad at God? ever since you started this thread, it's bothered me that you said you would be glad to be in hell. i hope you are just trying to get a rise out of everybody and not really mean it.

Is that stuff really preached at Souther Baptist churches? i've told you about my uncle, they are affiliated with Jerry Falwell. sometimes i wonder if they actually listen to the sermon or read a bible from some of the racial crap my uncle has said.
I cut out an article from Billy Graham and gave it to him about a girl who dated a black man and her family were against. Billy Graham said to pray for her family that it's not a sin to date interacially but it's a sin to be racist. so, i believe Billy Graham, he is like Mr. King Bible.

ok, how the fuck could there be a gene for homosexuality if you can't pass it on?

Unless your parents both had recessive alleles for it?

And again, if there's a gene for it, where's it at? How come no one has found it yet with all the researching?

    My dad was gay...

And PS- All the google cut and pasting doesn't make you look smarter :)

PPS- I'm sorry, did you happen to scurry thorough ALL the material on homosexual gene research? I would find that hard to believe... again, :)

have they identified the gene that makes people left handed or is that a choice people make early on in life?

when did you choose to be heterosexual?

Unfortunately, I think it is at some of them. Probably not most, but some. I don't think it's something that's usually taught on Sundays, it's more like press releases and commentaries on radio and television coming from the Southern Baptist Convention itself.

That was AWESOME!! :applause: :applause: :applause:

okay, early in life, most kids, especially boys, have some homosexual tendencies. Most kids grow out of them, some don't. That simple.

Kris- explain people being left handed.

Is it a choice? Environmental? Learned? Genetic?

    We don't know.

Some things aren't meant to be explained.

But I do know one thing- I didn't make a choice to be gay. And as hard as I have fought it- I feel i am much better a man for being honest with myself, God and everyone else about it as opposed to living a lie.

All we want is the legal security with a lifetime partner of our choosing that you have- nothing more, nothing less.
