if you think it's environmental, how come by brothers and sister are heterosexuals? we call grew up in the same household, with the same parents. we were all "pushed" down the same path.

i've been involved with women who had 'daddy doesn't love me' blues, and found those women lare ooking for any type of affection be it from another woman, a man, a child "(not child molesters, but like to be around children because children love unconditionally), whatever. it's also been my experience with these women that they are more likely to be bisexual...just looking for love whereever they can find it. but that is NOT lesbianism. <----is that a word?

Not necessarily. Every person has a unique relationship with his/her parents. Siblings often turn out wildly different -- my sister and I sure did. I'm willing to bet your personality and psyche isn't a carbon copy of those of your brothers and sisters, either.

not carbon copies because we're all individuals but dang close. and we all have basically the same set of values we live by as well as physical resemblance. but thelt is saying that either one or both of my parents weren't around, abused me, didn't show me love and attention, or exposed me to sex at too young an age. that's so totally bullshit i'm not even going to argue it.

my previous point was, if thelt truly believes those type things factor into pushing a child to become or choose to be gay, then why did it just affect one child of four?

then the god you believe in makes mistakes. mine does not.

you are the type of "christian" fred is speaking about in his intial post in this thread when he said "I don't want to be part of a 'moral society' who's morals serve only themself without any sort of heart to look at the rest of society..."

You never really answered my question about the bi sexuals. Do you believe they are born that way and have no choice but to be attracted to both sexes? Where do you draw the line between biology and choice?

Not every gay person suffers from bad parenting. I bet a lot do though.

By the same token how can you say it is genetic when there are identical twins (exact same genes) one of which is gay, the other is straight?

No He doesn't make mistakes. Everyone is not born happy. If they were, there would be no need for Him. He may put you in this situation just like He lets a baby be born with a disease to see how you and those around you react.

A genetic pre-disposition can be used to justify a lot of things. It is just another way people in our society avoid responsibility for their actions.
