I wonder what they mean by the Panthers have had stadium issues? I can't believe Jerry doesn't have some succession plans to sell to someone a percentage with a deal in place to buy control upon his death. Jacksonville seems like the likely team to move if a team move is the plan. They've had attendance problems forever.

It just doesn't make any sense for us to move. We rarely ifever have a blackout and we do have somewhat of a strong fan support base. I'm guessing the only reason we were mentioned is because of the 2-14 season.

    Lets look at this

    1- Jerry has heart attack
2- Jerry fires his son's [no family to take his place]
3-Jerry dumps all the Vets last season
4- Jerry dumps all the coaching staff over last 3 seasons
5-Jerry lets Peppers walk with no Comp
6- Jerry is willing to trade Steve & possible let Deangelo walk
7-Panthers draft a 1st round franchise QB [ Panthers have always used VETS]
8- Jerry was only owner to stick with the plan last season ,and it cost him big time
9-Jerry is HUGE in the lockout talks
10- Jerry has already sold out Spartan Foods

Jerry may want to take his $$$ and go enjoy what life he has left after the heart issues
He has always been about what the N F L wants

First off I in no way think this will happen. Jerry is too deeply rooted in the area with friends and business connections (those that depend on the Panthers) to move. That said if the team were to move would the PSL holders have permanent seat licenses to an unoccupied stadium essentially being fucked in the ass for anywhere from $900 - $5400 per seat?

It's PFT. How many times have we seen them make shit up that made no sense whatsoever, and I chastised you guys for buying their crap? Those guys don't actually know football, and they have no scruples about making things up out of thin air. It's just like local idiot sports radio. I'd much rather listen to Dukey's youtube shows.

As for the academic question regarding what would happen if the team wanted to move, that I do not know. I imagine that something in the PSL contract probably addresses it.

He mentioned about a quarter of the league.

I don't think the Panthers will wind up in LA or anywhere else, we make those lists because we're down right now.

And because year after year this region still gets looked over by national pundits who only follow the major markets. They know nothing about this team and realistically probably couldn't place Charlotte on a map.

Yeah this more than anything illustrates that. The Panthers have sold out I'd guess 90%+ of their games if not more. Sure people don't go and buy the concessions but the seats are sold. I'd be surprised if Goodall allowed them to move just because of that fact. The Jaguars has to be the team in question. But who knows.

No the guy that said it was from the NFL Network. Don't make assumptions.
